Head of Tennis Returns to Wimbledon

Guess who was back at Wimbledon this weekend? Our incredible Head of Tennis, an Old Bancroftian!

Her junior career was remarkable: Junior British Number 1 from 1988-1994, 10 national singles titles, and the 1994 Sunday Times Young Sportswoman of the Year. As a senior player, she reached world rankings of 95 in doubles and 218 in singles, and was British Number 2 in both singles and doubles.

Her career highlights include beating Barbara Rittner at Eastbourne and winning the National Doubles Championship in 1993 and 1997.
