British Biology Olympiad Success

We are pleased to reveal the impressive accomplishments of our students in the recent British Biology Olympiad.

This prestigious competition, organised by the UK Biology Competitions (UKBC), challenges and stimulates students with an interest in biology to expand and extend their talents. The Olympiad is open to students in post-16 education and involves two 45-minute multiple-choice papers covering a wide range of biological topics, from ecology to biotechnology  .

Highly Commended: Maya R., Sia, Eleanor

Commended: Param, Ethan, Inaaya, Nabeeha, Martin

Participation: Neha, Justinas, Sophia, Isobel, Adedayo, Saira, Arman

This year, over 13,000 students from more than 800 schools worldwide participated in the Olympiad. The competition is known for its rigorous standard, and achieving a medal is a testament to the students’ dedication and knowledge. The top performers from this stage are invited to further training and assessment, with the possibility of representing the UK at the International Biology Olympiad  .
