U4th Navigate Silver DofE with Skill

Over the weekend, 32 U4th students successfully completed their Silver Duke of Edinburgh qualifying expedition, tackling a challenging three-day, 50km route through the Black Mountains in South Wales. Despite the changeable weather, the students showcased their resourcefulness, navigation, and outdoor skills.

This year, our Duke of Edinburgh programme has seen nearly 140 Bronze, 35 Silver, and 25 Gold participants, resulting in a tremendous amount of volunteering both inside and outside of school. From helping run our Phab club and community swimming sessions to assisting at local charity shops and leading in creative arts and dance teaching, our DofE participants have truly gone above and beyond to complete their awards.
